In 2005, Mark started building ConveyorCMS, a custom content management system to address the time consuming and often unwieldy nature of website content management. At its core, ConveyorCMS is a streamlined framework for rapid and cost effective custom application development. It eliminates the typical hassles with a powerful suite of timesaving tools, wrapping the most demanding tasks in simplicity. It is this simplicity that ensures anyone can “roll out” a website and deliver on a comprehensive online communication strategy.
Logo Development
The premise behind the ConveyorCMS brand is in its name. To convey, is to deliver, and in this case ConveyorCMS delivers online communications. The packages rolling down the conveyor belt in the logo speak to the speed and efficiency of its mass distribution tools, evocative of the production lines harnessing these same benefits in factories and distribution facilities across the world. But the logo is also intentionally reminiscent of days gone by when grocery stores would roll out your order directly to your waiting car at the curb. This nostalgia ensures the brand is more accessible and friendly.
The ConveyorCMS is released in three editions, tailored to very specific audiences and use cases. To differentiate between the three, Mark created variations of the logo for each. For the Church Edition, a cross is affixed to the top, and instead of boxes, it more distinctly looks like a church. Similarly, for the Restaurant Edition, a simple table cloth is draped over the box, and a serving dish, speaking to its online ordering, menu and nutrition calculator features.
